New T-Boz music.

It’s no secret that I am a fan of TLC. Actually as a young boy my mother bought me TLC, Salt-N-Peppa, Boyz-II-Men & All-4-One cassette tapes for Christmas…. I have been hooked on music ever since.

Now more than a decade later, T-Boz of TLC is gearing up to release her first solo album. Although I have yet to hear any official details about the albums title, release date, or details about her label I am still hype!

A few days ago I came across one of her new songs called You Got Me Open. The song is a typical T-Boz track that features her husky soulful voice and her laid back style. I’m not sure the song is ready to compete on the Billboard charts in 2008 or 2009, but I think its a track that any true TLC fan can cherish.

Search for this one!!!

I have just spent my evening listening to a free mixtape download that knocked my socks off! Izza Kizza is a name I had only before heard uttered by Missy Elliott in one of her famous rhymes. Tonight I stumbled upon a mixtape with fresh imaging and the name read Izza Kizza. I was curious if it was the same guy and sure enough – this guy is from the Missy / Timbaland camp and M.Elliott even has a feature on the mixtape.

I highly suggest downloading this free mixtape and enjoying Kizzaland the way I have.

Whitney Houston – Like I Never Left

Whitney Houston is finally back on the music scene. Just a few days ago I saw a youtube video performance she was doing live somewhere and I was happy to hear her singing again. Today I heard this brand new track by Ms Houston called “Like I Never Left”. The song is produced by Akon and features the artist on the track also. The only other Whitney to have been heard in the last two years was some background vocals on a Ray-J b-side re

Timbaland – Shock Value Vol. 2

I have been a fan of Timbo for many years. Would love to work with him someday. His last project solo project Shock Value was not my favorite by him – but was a solid album all the same. Now he is hard at work on Vol. 2.

There has been speculation and Timbo’s even mentioned some names of featured artists this time around. At the moment I’m most looking forward to hearing what he does with Linkin Park, Jay-Z, Beyonce and Lindsay Lohan.

Not sure when the album drops or when the first single will be out – but I am hype about it, so it was worth mentioning.

Masta Productions

I have recently hooked up with Masta Productions ->

He sent me a beat on July 17th along with a small clip of an idea he had for the hook.

I have been writing and recording for the past three days in the studio.

I was really impressed with the beat and with the hook idea that he presented and I couldn’t wait to do it.

However, because I was so impressed I feel a certain amount of pressure to deliver a quality song.

I am nearly done and I am happy so far with what I’ve come up with.

The song is called ON TIME and should be available soon to hear.

Since I am in sessions right now for my second album via Jack Kitty Records – who knows – maybe this will end up on my next album.

Look out for it.

I have just come across The Art of Alex Sandwell Kliszynski. It is very intriguing.

I’ll Be Lovin’ U Long Time – Mariah Carey – Remix

Mariah Carey has done what a lot of smart artists are doing now to promote their single, she has given out the studio session files of her new song to DJs for Remixing.

I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to work with one of the most successful entertainers of all time. I downloaded the files and put together my remix.

New Brandy Promo-Pic

Brandy is looking great in this brand new promo picture. I can’t stress enough how happy I am that she has left her long time record label “Atlantic” to manager her music in house. Her and brother Ray-J head Knockout Entertainment, their own independent record label. She has inked a joint deal with EPIC and I am hopping that this means appropriate promotion for one of the most talented young artists in the world.

This picture comes from her official MySpace profile.
